艾米丽主教

Professor Bishop has taught at the 法学院 since 2013 and has served as the Co-Director of the 法律yering Program since 2015. She specializes in teaching legal research, 法律推理, predictive and persuasive legal writing, 口头宣传. Professor Bishop is a member of the Association of Legal Writing Directors and the Legal Writing Institute, and she has served on the Editorial Board of 第二稿, which publishes articles on the teaching of legal research and writing.
 
Professor Bishop earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her J.D. from New York University School of 法律. While in law school, Professor Bishop served as the Senior Notes Editor of the New York University 法律 Review and published her student Note, "A Child's Expertise:  Establishing Statutory Protection for Intersexed Children Who Reject Their Gender of Assignment."
 
法学院毕业后, Professor Bishop clerked for Judge Shirley Wohl Kram on the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She then practiced at the Washington, DC office of WilmerHale LLP in the areas of Securities Litigation and Securities Enforcement. Her pro bono work focused on reproductive rights litigation. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana, New York, and Washington, DC.
